Course Objectives: 
This course intends to provide 5th year dental students with the fundamentals of Legal Medicine, Forensic Pathology and Forensic Odontology including the findings of somatic death, physical and chemical injuries, forensic psychiatry, and the techniques of examination of child abuse and sexual assault cases with bite-marks.
Course Content: 

 

The Death, Sudden Death Phenomena, Physical and Chemical Injuries, Forensic Psychiatry, Autopsy, Disaster Victim Identification, Dental Identification, Age estimation from dental sources, Dental report writing and giving evidence, Bite mark identification/
