Course Objectives:
The course aims to introduce the students with the concept of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. The purpose of the course is to teach the pathophysiology of atrophic jaws, classification of resorption on alveolar process, the principles of preprosthetic surgery and treatment approaches on the hard and soft tissue of oral cavity, principles of distraction osteogenesis and alveolar distraction, pros and cons of segmental ostetomies, the basic and advanced surgical procedure of dental implants.
Course Content:
In his course, the principles of preprosthetic surgery on hard and soft tissues, distraction osteogenesis, alveolar distraction, segmental osteotomy and basic and advanced surgical procedures on dental implants in oral and maxillofacial area will be taught by supporting live surgery
