Course Objectives:
Didactic courses provide a deeper and more sophisticated foundation of knowledge in the clinical disciplines. The course is devoted to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, bone grafts and reconstructive surgery, management of benign and malignant lesions of the jaws, temporomandibular joint surgery, orthognathic surgery and correction of dentofacial anomalies, mandibular and midface trauma management. The course is also to prepare the student to recognize advanced ortognatic and maxillofacial problems that require referral to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
