Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to explain the usage of radiographs of relevance to dental practice, interpreting the images, including managing and avoiding the hazards of ionizing radiation. The practical part of the course is carried out as a phantom study during the fall semester whereas the spring semester comprises clinical practice.
Course Content: 

Radiation physics, radiobiology, radiation protection and safety, dental radiology, projection geometry and general information about radiographic techniques, intraoral radiographic techniques, object localization, processing films, factors effecting of radiographic appearance of jaws, anatomic landmarks on radiographs, artifacts.
